With roots in agriculture and farming, Christianson Systems has grown to become a global leader in pneumatic conveying systems. Since the early 1970s, we’ve evolved from equipment distribution to manufacturing innovative solutions that solve complex material handling challenges worldwide.
In 1979, we began manufacturing pneumatic conveyors under the Handlair brand, marketing them throughout the USA and Canada. By 1989, we purchased Dunbar Kapple/Vac-U-Vator and consolidated manufacturing and international marketing operations in Blomkest, Minnesota, where we continue to innovate and serve our customers today.

Custom-Built Solutions
Every system we sell is built right here in our 85,000-square-foot facility in Blomkest, Minnesota. Our manufacturing building stands 80 feet tall—one of the tallest in Minnesota—allowing us to assemble and test even our largest ship unloaders indoors year-round.
In-House Manufacturing
With over five decades in the industry, we’ve developed the expertise to handle any pneumatic conveying challenge. From small bulk seed conveyors to massive ship unloaders discharging ocean-going vessels at rates of 300 metric tons per hour, we’ve seen it all.

Our pneumatic conveying systems operate in agriculture, commercial bulk handling, and marine port industries worldwide. International projects include installations in Australia, Vietnam, Venezuela, and the Philippines.
